Version 3.1 | Bio-Digital ASCII Visualizer

Welcome to the Genesis Echo. This application transforms your device into a retro-future terminal, converting mathematical patterns, camera feeds, and touch inputs into a living grid of ASCII text.

1. The Interface & Controls

The control deck is located at the bottom of the screen.

🔲 PATTERN

Cycles through 11 Generative Modes.

• Tap: Switches to the next visual algorithm.
• Modes include: Genesis (Cosmic Cloud), Plasma, Vortex, Kaleidoscope, Hyperspace Tunnel, Alien Artifact, Matrix Rain, Data Stream, Fractal Bitwise, Binary Storm, and Sine Weave.

🎨 COLOR (Multi-Function Button)

This button has two distinct interaction methods:

• TAP (Click): Instantly randomizes the terminal color to a new solid neon hue. Perfect for matching a vibe quickly.
• PRESS & HOLD (1 Second): Cycles through advanced color modes:
  • MANUAL: Single static color (Default).
  • AUTO: Slowly drifts through the color spectrum over time.
  • TOUCH: Color changes dynamically based on where you touch the screen (Left = Red, Right = Violet).

📝 CHARS

Customize the "particles" of the universe.

• Action: Opens a prompt to type your own characters.
• Usage: Type your name, a secret code, or binary (01). The app will use these characters to render the brightness levels of the visual.

📷 CAM (Camera Mode)

Turns the app into an ASCII Mirror.

• Tap: Cycles between OFF -> FRONT CAMERA -> BACK CAMERA.
• Effect: The camera feed is heavily processed into ASCII text and colored by your current theme.

⚡ SPEED (Slider)

Controls the passage of time.

• Left: Slow motion / Freeze.
• Right: Hyper-speed.
• Tip: Adjusting speed changes the "energy" of the simulation drastically.

👻 TRAILS

Toggles "Phosphor Burn" simulation.

• OFF: Crisp, instant movement (60 FPS).
• ON: Previous frames fade out slowly, creating ghostly trails.
• Best For: Light painting with the camera or creating dreamy, fluid visuals.

2. Interaction (Touch & Warping)

The Genesis Echo is touch-sensitive. The code reacts to your presence.

• The Gravity Well: Touch and drag anywhere on the screen (or use your mouse). The ASCII grid will warp and stretch around your finger as if the screen is made of liquid.
• Magnification: The area directly under your finger is magnified, allowing you to see the individual characters clearly.

3. Exporting & Sharing

Create content for social media or wallpapers.

• SNAP: Instantly saves a high-resolution .PNG image of the current frame to your device.
• REC: Records a 5-second video loop.
  • Smart Format: The app attempts to save as .MP4 (best for Instagram/TikTok). If your device doesn't support that, it saves as .WEBM.
  • Status: The button pulses while recording.

4. Secret Features (Easter Eggs)

📻 The Hidden Signal

The app simulates a receiver scanning for data.

1. Select PATTERN 7 (Data Stream).
2. Move the SPEED SLIDER to exactly 3.0 (roughly 75% across the bar).
3. Result: The static will stabilize, and a hidden message "GENESIS ECHO CONTACT" will scroll across the screen.

5. Troubleshooting

• Black Bars / UI Cutoff: Tap the FULL button to hide your browser's address bar and fill the screen.
• Camera Not Working: Ensure you have clicked "Allow" on the browser permission popup. On iOS, you may need to refresh the page if camera access was previously denied.
• Audio: Tap the screen once to ensure the ambient drone sound initializes.
