INITIALIZATION

AUDIO WARNING: Modern web browsers perform a "Audio Context Suspension" to prevent websites from playing noise automatically.

  1. Load the application.
  2. Click the START button located in the bottom Sequencer rack.
  3. This will "wake up" the audio engine. You are now ready to play.

RACK 1: BitWAVE SYNTH

An 8-voice polyphonic synthesizer inspired by 80s consumer keyboards.

Core Controls

The Sampler

The BitWAVE includes a built-in microphone sampler (SK-1 style).

  1. Click the REC button.
  2. Allow microphone permissions if prompted.
  3. Make a sound immediately. Recording lasts exactly 2.0 seconds.
  4. The synth will auto-switch to SAMPLER mode.

Sample Editing

Once a sample is recorded, the edit controls unlock:

The Grid

Sample Loading (Drag & Drop)

You can replace any drum sound with your own files.

Drag a .WAV or .MP3 file from your desktop and drop it directly onto the text label (e.g., drop it on the word "KICK"). The text will turn green to confirm load.

Advanced: CV LINK

Located in the header. When CV LINK is checked:

A 7-stage mastering chain. Signal flows from Left to Right.

Modules

AI PATCH WIZARD

This module uses Google's Gemini AI to design sounds for you.

  1. Enter your Gemini API Key. (Stored only in memory, never saved).
  2. Type a description: "Heavy distorted bass for cyberpunk" or "Dreamy underwater pad".
  3. Click GENERATE.

The AI will take control of the Synth parameters (Attack, Decay, Waveform) and the entire FX Rack to match your description.
